The idea for Hugo was born in a meeting with Mårten Aglander, CEO of Playground Music, and several members of his team. Playground had already worked with us on a few campaigns, and during that meeting we explored how they worked today, what challenges they faced, and — if anything were possible — how they would ideally like to work.
From that conversation, a thought emerged:
What if we could build a marketing assistant that handled all the trend research, opportunity finding, campaign tracking, ROI measurement, and other time-consuming parts of marketing a music catalog — so marketers could focus on creative decisions and big-picture campaigns?
Since that day, we have:
Worked thousands of hours (and pulled more than a few all-nighters)
Leveraged the best LLMs available
Built our own models, algorithms, and advanced data pipelines
Grown our engineering and design team
Hugo is now approaching its Beta launch. For the first version, Hugo focuses entirely on TikTok — but that’s already powerful enough to deliver serious value. Hugo processes over 100,000 trending videos per day from every country, understanding both niche and global trends in remarkable detail. With Hugo, you won’t need to spend hours scrolling TikTok to stay up-to-date — you can simply ask him.
